Tamara is a development communications professional with over 8 years of experience. Her expertise includes crafting impactful advocacy and communication initiatives throughout the Asia Pacific region. Her work spans across various development project areas, tackling issues like hunger, climate change, and education disparities. Some of her noteworthy achievements include increasing media engagement during humanitarian emergencies, driving civic engagement during high-level political forums such as UNGA, COP, and G7 Summit, and promoting the rights of refugees and other vulnerable groups through her storytelling approaches.

Tamara has also contributed to research communication projects on the hidden impacts of the pandemic on children's health and nutrition, child poverty, child rights, and gender equality. In 2022, she served on the Education Working Group of the G20 Indonesia Presidency and delivered policy recommendations on building stronger, better, and more resilient post-pandemic education systems in developing nations to G20 leaders during the Summit.

Prior to joining APLMA, Tamara held regional communication roles at 350.org, Save the Children International, Asia Justice and Rights, the Global Peace Foundation, and several other communication consultancies working with regional non-profit organizations.
