Philippines

Located in Southeast Asia, the Philippines' FOURmula One Plus for Health, a framework for health sector reforms, aims to provide universal access to reliable diagnosis, highly effective and appropriate treatment and preventive measures, while strengthening their capacity to manage and implement Malaria interventions in all provinces. This extends to securing public and private financing to sustain Malaria elimination efforts at all levels, while ensuring availability of quality malaria services and timely detection. The Philippines aims to make use of data and evidence to guide Malaria elimination in all provinces.

Currently among the countries making up 1% of the Asia Pacific’s malaria burden, the Philippines aims to eliminate malaria by 2030.
